D-STAR allows for linking of the DV boxes... try it out! There is Internet linking too...

...the GATEWAY. The big advantage to D-STAR is the ability to link to other D-STAR repeaters in far and away places like Texas, Alabama, Germany, Canada, Australia, the UK, Bay Area and the OC.
