Field day is always the last full
weekend in June. This is the
premier contest and public relations event in Amateur Radio. It is
the perfect opportunity to try some new modes and equipment as well as
hone those emergency operations skills. Remember, "Emergency Ops" is the
reason for the Amateur Service. Field Day 2008 is coming soon. Mark your calendars now for the weekend of June 28 and 29. Check the Independent Radio Club website for info on Field Day 2007. |
